Bruna "The Special One" Brasil is a Brazilian MMA fighter born September 7, 1993, in Paranavaí, Paraná, competing in the UFC Women's Strawweight division out of Maringá. She trains at Fighting Nerds and holds a kickboxing black belt and BJJ brown belt — a former Brazilian and South American kickboxing champion who originally dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player before turning to martial arts. Brasil earned her UFC contract in September 2022 by knocking out Marnic Mann with a head kick on Dana White's Contender Series, one of the most spectacular DWCS finishes of that season.
