Conor McGregor is an Irish professional MMA fighter and the biggest star in UFC history, widely credited with transforming the sport into a global mainstream phenomenon. Born July 14, 1988, in Dublin, Ireland, he became the first fighter to hold UFC titles in two divisions simultaneously, winning the Featherweight and Lightweight championships in 2015 and 2016. His trilogy with Dustin Poirier and rivalry with Khabib Nurmagomedov are among the highest-selling pay-per-view events in MMA history, with UFC 264 drawing 1.8 million buys. McGregor last competed in July 2021, suffering a broken leg against Poirier at UFC 264. After completing an 18-month anti-doping suspension in March 2026, he is targeting a comeback later in 2026.
