Jack Della Maddalena (also known as JDM) is an Australian professional MMA fighter competing in the UFC Welterweight division. Born September 10, 1996, in Perth, Western Australia, he is of Italian descent and began his combat sports journey at 14 through boxing before transitioning to MMA. After building his record on the Australian regional circuit — including multiple Eternal MMA title defenses — he signed with the UFC via Dana White's Contender Series in 2021 and went on an extraordinary winning streak. Della Maddalena captured the UFC Welterweight title at UFC 315 in May 2025 by defeating Belal Muhammad, before losing it to Islam Makhachev at UFC 322 in November 2025.
