Maycee "The Future" Barber is an American MMA fighter born May 18, 1998, in Greeley, Colorado, competing in the UFC Women's Flyweight division. She trains at Team Alpha Male and began karate at age three after her family opened their own martial arts school in 2010. Coached throughout her career by her father Bucky Barber, she brings relentless pressure and ground-and-pound that earned her a Performance of the Night bonus for her second-round KO of Amanda Ribas in 2023. In mid-2024, Barber overcame a near-death health crisis — nine days hospitalized with pneumonia, strep throat and a staph infection — before returning to extend her current five-fight win streak.
