Michael Chandler is an American professional MMA fighter competing in the UFC Lightweight division, known for his explosive power and non-stop pressure style. Born April 24, 1986, in High Ridge, Missouri, Chandler was a four-time NCAA Division I wrestling qualifier and All-American at the University of Missouri before turning professional in 2009. He became a three-time Bellator Lightweight Champion — one of the most decorated careers in Bellator history — before signing with the UFC in 2020. Known for producing some of the most thrilling fights in MMA history, including his iconic front-kick knockout of Tony Ferguson at UFC 274, Chandler has shared the Octagon with Charles Oliveira, Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier.
