Ricky "El Tigre" Simon is an American MMA fighter born August 31, 1992, in Pendleton, Oregon, competing in the UFC Bantamweight division out of Vancouver, Washington. A wrestler since age nine, he went on to become the LFA Bantamweight Champion before joining the UFC in 2018. Simon holds the all-time UFC bantamweight record for takedowns landed — a testament to the relentless wrestling-based pressure he has applied across more than a decade of professional competition. A multiple-time Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night bonus earner, he has built one of the most consistent long-term careers in the division, sharing the Pacific Northwest fight community with his cousin, fellow UFC bantamweight Vince Morales.
